at Pachamama Tours
Pachamama Tours and Hostel Esperanza aren’t just a tour agency and hostel, we’re building a self-sustaining future to support our nonprofit mission, and we need passionate volunteers to make it happen!
We’re looking for volunteers willing to commit to a minimum of 4 weeks in one of three key areas:

Social Media & Digital Marketing – help us share our story and grow our online presence.

Administrative & Day-to-Day Support – assist with the smooth running of the hostel and tour operations.

Animal Care – join us in walking and caring for our dogs, bringing love and energy to our furry friends.
We know that arriving in a new country can feel overwhelming, so we make the process simple: before you arrive, we’ll hop on a video call to introduce ourselves, go over the basics, and review your schedule. Once your dates are confirmed, you’ll receive three quick documents to review: our Confidentiality Agreement, Child Protection Policy, and Terms & Conditions.

A DAY IN THE LIFE AS A VOLUNTEER
Your day usually starts around 8 am with breakfast together at the hostel.
After that, you’ll jump into the morning tasks: helping organize equipment and handling a bit of admin for the Acatenango tours.
If you’re here for the animals, your morning begins with breakfast and then heading out to walk and care for each one.
From there, you might help with housekeeping or lend a hand on small projects as we keep improving the hostel.
Around 1pm, we have lunch, and then the rest of the afternoon is yours—perfect for exploring Antigua, relaxing, or connecting with fellow travellers.
